what are they saying about me?

Have you ever googled youself? It is a useful thing to do if you haven't already. My name search results paint an interesting picture that yields perhaps not an entirely well rounded composite of me. It helps that there is another person with my name in the Seattle area. I can blame it all on her. A tip for yielding good results: use quotes and a plus sign with your city. For example: "mickey mouse"+anaheim. That search would do a lot better than: mickey mouse anaheim. If you often use a middle initial or want to find your name when it appears as last, first then try this: mickey+mouse+anaheim. You'll have more garbage to sort though, however.

Since I know my blog gets indexed, I'll list a few people I'd like to find. So, if they ever google themselves, they will find my blog and can get in touch.

lightweight

Ok, sometimes I feel really clever. You all know that I ride my bike to work daily. In addition, I am working to get the weight I carry with me down to a bare minimum. Necessities: work clothes and shoes, keys, wallet, cell phone, calendar, various just-in-case meds, fountain pen, pencil, keycard, breakfast and lunch, and lipstick. I am not especially vain, but I don't really like to go much of anywhere without lipstick. And, up until now, I've also brought a mirror. Lipstick without a mirror isn't much good. But, I just realized that I don't need a mirror anymore. My cell phone has a built-in video camera with a screen that faces the user. Just turning it on projects the user's image toward the user. Instant mirror. Isn't that fabulous?

you can't make me

I finished my internship last week and am missing it. And now my Wednesdays are spent at you-know-where. Who can expect me to be at work five days a week? I've been doing my work seven days a week, but I didn't have to actually BE there more than four. It's fine as far as real jobs go, but my heart is elsewhere.
