Is there a significance to these papers stapled to the poor tree? That's if it is a tree
You'll be glad to know that it's a telephone pole rather than a tree. I couldn't figure out what they were doing there, though a friend pointed out to me that it's near the Art Institute of Seattle, so it might have been a student who put them up. They looked really cool...and yes, random!
